You’ve been waiting for an opportunity to bid on artworks and listen to drumming and watch dancers in action, right? You can do all those things and more this evening (February 1) at the library when the Green Lake Public School Kindergarten presents Crane Party! These five and six-year-old scholars have been learning all about whooping cranes, and they are ready to share their knowledge and talents with you. There will also be a representative from the International Crane Foundation on hand to talk about the important work they are doing in Baraboo and around the world.
We’ve had lots of questions about tax forms, and it will probably be a while yet for the federal forms to arrive. Libraries received an email from the IRS last week stating the 2017 forms won’t even be available online until January 29. The print forms will take longer to arrive – perhaps mid-February. We do have an array of state tax forms, including the Homestead Credit forms, so stop in any time to get those.
