Get involved at the library!

The Boys & Girls Club kids visited with us in the library during our last book sale and each child was able to take home three books and one movie for free. That gives us another reason to be grateful to our Friends of the library! Then, they trooped upstairs and signed up for library cards which allowed them to check out a few books. They were so excited to be visiting and getting books with their very own library cards. We hope that they will visit with us often to find more reading adventures!

This coming week we are partnering with the local 4-H Club to bring an opportunity to explore superhero powers, learn to see the invisible, and solve cryptograms! This program is geared toward youth in 5K - 3rd grade and is free to attend but limited to the first 12 participants. Preregister by signing up at: bit.ly/FriNov5 or go to our website or Facebook page to find the link. The event is Friday, November 5 at 3:00 pm, and we hope you’ll join us.

Our Constant Reader Book Club participation is growing. This month we are discussing Lisa Jewell's The Family Upstairs on November 10 at 3 pm. There’s still time to read or listen before the discussion date and copies are available in a variety of formats at the front desk. New members are always welcome!
