The calendar may want us to wait until the 21st, but summer really gets going this weekend. You can Splash Into Summer on Saturday at Playground Park from 10:00-2:00 (with fish stories at 10:30). Hungry for ice cream? You can build your own sundaes or order up a soda at the library on Sunday afternoon between 1:00 and 4:00. Kids can also sign up for the Summer Reading Program at that time, and put themselves in prime position to earn rewards. Monday, June 12, brings the first of six special weekly performers. This time we welcome naturalist Stephanie Feuerstein who will tell us about the many kinds of homes animals create for themselves. Stephanie’s program begins at 10:00 in the library’s lower level.

Tuesdays are Tia days – our favorite reading therapy dog sees kids between 10 and 11:30. Wednesdays we have Maker mornings, an opportunity for crafts, littleBits, and more. Thursday mornings are devoted to LEGOs. And Fridays bring story time for children and their caregivers. All these events begin at 10:00 a.m. Please phone the library for more information at 920-294-3572 or check the website at www.greenlakelibrary.org
