As our namesake benefactor has passed away, we grieve for his family and with our community. The story of Tom Caestecker’s involvement and investment in the Green Lake area is retold every time you walk through the doors of the Caestecker Public Library. After the completion of our current library building, Tom served on the board of the Caestecker Library Foundation and continued to be involved with major building improvements and expansion of library services beyond our municipal budget allowance. Tom was a lifetime Friend to the library and truly a friend of Green Lake. We are grateful for Tom’s years of continued generosity and commitment to our library. He will be missed.
