Where did the summer go? This weekend marks the end of our summer schedule at the library, which means you have one last opportunity to pick up books and movies until 3:00 p.m. on Saturday until next summer. And because it’s Labor Day Weekend, we’ll be closed on Sunday and Monday (September 1 and 2) in observance of the holiday. We’re back to normal school year hours on September 3.
Back to school also means a few programs shift time slots. The Lego club goes back to meeting on Thursdays after school, from 3:30-4:30. And story time for preschoolers and their caregivers moves back to Thursday mornings at 10:00.
Some things don’t change, though. We’re still the best place in town to get free high speed internet access. We still have loads of great new books and movies coming in every month. We have great programs lined up (owls anyone?), artists’ work to showcase, and service with a smile. The knitting group, bible study group, and Constant Reader Book Club are going strong. We invite you to join us often, all year round. There’s always something going on at the library.
