November 3rd Newspaper Column

Well, at least we didn’t get snow while the kids were trick-or-treating…but we weren’t exactly overrun with children last Sunday either. Chances are pretty good you can still score a sweet treat at the library this week J

Speaking of treats, we have a terrific selection of cookbooks for those looking to tweak their holiday/entertaining menus. From hot-off-the-press tomes to trusted old favorites, you’re bound to find something to inspire your culinary creativity.

We are hosting Pat Dobrinska’s adult art students as our collective artists of the month for November, and are having a reception for them on Tuesday the 8th from 5-7:00 p.m. It’s always a big show and there’s always good food, so stop in and see what your artistically inclined friends and neighbors have been working on recently. We’re always impressed by the variety and quality of the works.
