You donated, you came, you shopped - and the Friends Spring Book Sale was a smashing success! We are so grateful for the support we receive from you. Thanks to your generosity the Friends now have another $1900+ to give back to the library in the form of programs and materials.

Our May Artist of the Month is Susan Anderson of Grand River Pottery. Look for Susan’s work on display in the case across from the checkout desk. Her ceramics are organic and very cool.

We have Children’s Book Week to celebrate May 13-19. (For me, any excuse to read new children’s books is an excellent use of my time.) Mary Elliott of Pastimes Books in Princeton will give a presentation here on Monday, May 13th at 4:30 p.m. on children’s favorites old and new.

We still have some seeds left for this season in our seed library – and there’s plenty of gardening season ahead of us. Perhaps a Mother’s Day gift of heirloom seeds? Stop in to check some out next time you’re in town.
