Bardfest wraps up tonight (Thursday) with a screening of the Reduced Shakespeare Company’s The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (abridged). If you know a lot, or even a little, about Shakespeare’s plays, you will laugh. And laugh. And maybe giggle into your popcorn. Please join us at 6:30.
Next week brings Thanksgiving, and I should start out by reminding everyone that we will be closed Thanksgiving Day, but open regular hours the rest of the holiday weekend. In fact, we will be showing movies on Friday and Saturday to give kids and families something to do together. Or something fun to do while other family members are shopping to their hearts content at our local merchants. J In any case, we’re here for you.
And while we’re thinking about Thanksgiving, I want to thank all the folks who make this library great. Staff members, volunteers, Board members, Friends, Foundation, patrons, visitors, municipal leaders, everyone. I owe a debt of gratitude for your support, your willingness to give of your time and money and selves to make programs and materials available for everyone who visits the library. Thank you now and always.
