The public school kids are on spring break next week, so we’re planning some fun for those who are sticking around Green Lake. There will be matinee movies on Monday and Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. and a special story and craft time next Thursday at 10:00 a.m. Check the events calendar on the library web site for details: www.greenlakelibrary.org

It’s officially Spring! And among other things, that means it’s time for something fun. The Friends are filling that need for us this week with a Spring Surprise mini book sale, Thursday (today) only, from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. We heard from so many folks who were unable to make to the February sale, and have received so many wonderful donations, that we thought it was worth giving this a try. Stop on by – the back door will be open – and check out the wide array of books, movies, puzzles, and more. Remember, it’s three hours only.

Nothing to beware of today at the library - in fact we are in a celebratory mood. Mary Rowley, owner of the Goose Blind stopped over with a wonderful gift for the Friends:
