Join us tonight for a fascinating program on Wisconsin's shipwrecks. George Mayhew, volunteer research diver with the Wisconsin Historical Society's Maritime Archaeology Program will be here to talk about some of the 700+ known shipwrecks in our state. George's presentation begins at 6:30.

We're in the middle of our "book-raiser" for the children's and teen's collections. There's a Scholastic Book Fair set up in our large meeting room, and proceeds will go into new books for our kids. There is a wide variety of titles available for infants to grown-ups. I hope you will stop in and check it out.

Last week the Friends held one of their occasional “flash” used book sales – three hours on Thursday afternoon. Thanks to your efforts, they raised over $360. I am constantly in awe of the support you give us. So we’re bringing you another opportunity…
