Looks like the warm weather has finally arrived (thank goodness!). If, like many, you were delayed in putting in a garden due to the wet, chilly spring, you can still find some heirloom seeds at the library. We also have lots of terrific books on gardening and landscaping, so whether your growing passion is fruit, veggies, flowers, or trees, we have the information you need to succeed.

Summer library hours are back, and that means you have three extra hours every week until Labor Day to enjoy books, movies, and programs from the Caestecker Public Library. We’re now open until 3:00 p.m. on Saturdays, and 7:00 on Monday nights.

Freeze warnings may be a recent memory for us in Green Lake, but the publishing world is completely in summer blockbuster mode. This month has seen an embarrassment of riches in the form of new books by favorite authors. I may not be ready for the beach, but your reading list is.
Here are a few of the highly-anticipated offerings that we currently have:
Mom & Me & Mom – Maya Angelou
Life After Life – Kate Atkinson
The Hit – David Baldacci
Inferno – Dan Brown
