As I start to compile information for the library’s annual report, I have a statistics snapshot to share:    Our circulation of physical library materials was up 2% from 2022. The Green Lake library is in a group of 11 libraries out of 29 that saw an increase in our physical circulation. Summer reading programming has begun! Kids and adults are welcome to participate in our reading Bingo this year to earn prizes, have fun, and have a chance to give back to the community. The Caestecker Public Library will be open regular hours up to July 4th for last-minute books and DVDs for the holiday weekend. The library will be CLOSED on Thursday, January 25 and Friday, January 26 for electrical upgrades in the fireplace area. When the project is complete, the tables in the front sitting area will have access to electrical and USB outlets to increase usable workspace for laptops and devices within the library setting. We have a lot to be thankful for this week. The Friends’ Art Fair book sale netted over $2,122, which is astounding as most of the items are priced at $1.00 or less. That’s a lot of items sold, and we are extremely grateful.
