Look for keyboards and mice that have Microban injected in the plastic to be on the market in May. They significantly reduce the amount of bacteria on computer peripherals. Looks like the perfect thing for public access and shared staff computers. The items only cost $10 more than normal peripherals.

Yahoo, Google primed for search war
Google currently handles 80% of the searching done on the Web through distribution deals like the one with Yahoo. When Yahoo changes to its own algorithm-based Inktomi search engine, Google's share is expected to drop to 54%.
This new service is growing in popularity, getting mentioned all over the blogging world. It is a way to upload your aggregator's list of feeds to share and compare them with other people. It's a great way to find new feeds to subscribe to. There have been suggestions made to add more lists of blogs, like obscure ones or rising stars.
While browsing WebJunction, I found a conversation on library zines. One librarian recommended CrimsonZine. This would be an easy way to add news about programming, new books, and other lengthy information to a site. I am considering adding one to follow the Sirsi conversion.

After digging through a handful of prominent site dedicated to Conrad, I found this one to be the most complete with its own content and its links to the other sites. It is also the most recently updated.
