Get Vertigo
Vertigo is one of my favorite new plug-ins for Firefox. It takes all of my tabs that used to be across the top of the browser and has then run down the left-hand side of the screen instead. It works really well for me on my laptop which has a lot more screen room side to side than top to bottom.
In April I'm doing a program at WAPL (Wisconsin Association of Public Libraries) about great plug-ins for browsers. If you have a favorite let me know! Here are the ones already on my list:
LibX
Del.icio.us
Morning Coffee
ScreenGrab
Vertigo
Windows Live Writer

I really like "Add to Search Bar" because it enabled me to easily add my
library's online catalog to my Firefox search bar. Now I can do quick catalog searches just by highlighting keywords on any web page.

I LOVE Morning Coffee. I have several things I do at various times during the week and I like that it will open up tabs based on the day. I also use the del.icio.us add-on all the time.
Other Firefox add-ons that I use all the time:
- TinyURL Creator - https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/126
This one is great if you do email reference.
- Faviconize Tab - https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/3780
This one faviconizes your tabs, so more fit.
- GooglePreview - https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/189
Shows thumbnails of a site in GoogleSearch.
Not necessary for libraries, but I also like Forecast Fox - https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/398, which puts the weather at the bottom. Very nice.
