Back from Vacation

Well, I have returned from the beautiful Madeline Island in northern Wisconsin where the public library gives visitors open access to their newly automated collection. It was lovely on the cool rainy days to have a place to take the kids where they would feel immediately at home. As always, I got some new ideas about things I can try at Green Lake.

The library had these wonderful little signs all over the town. Some said when storytime is, some about high speed Internet, others about movie night. Very effective, especially because they weren't filled with tons of information so the font was huge and the sign was simple.
