November is upon us, and with it our latest literary “fest.” A couple of years ago we celebrated Shakespeare. Last year it was Jane Austen in the spotlight. This time around we are focusing on a literary creation rather than a creator – one who has enjoyed great popularity ever since he first appeared on the page.
We love our Friends of the Caestecker Library group. Have for decades, and will for decades to come. After all, without our Friends we wouldn’t be open every Sunday afternoon. We wouldn’t have special performers for the Summer Reading Program every year. We would have no newspaper or magazine subscriptions. No treats at our programs. And heaven only knows what we would do with all the donated books and movies and puzzles we receive.
