July 5th Newspaper Column

I hope everyone enjoyed a safe and happy 4th. If you’re looking to extend the celebration, or just for a spot to cool off for a while, head on over to the library for one (or more) of our upcoming events.

What I was supposed to have in last week's paper...

Due to "technical difficulties" (more likely operator error on my part), last week's newspaper column did not arrive to the paper in time for printing. Here's what it was meant to be:

Great Lakes Shipwrecks Program Tonight

Join us tonight for a fascinating program on Wisconsin's shipwrecks. George Mayhew, volunteer research diver with the Wisconsin Historical Society's Maritime Archaeology Program will be here to talk about some of the 700+ known shipwrecks in our state. George's presentation begins at 6:30.

Refreshments will be provided. Tonight's program is sponsored by the Friends of the Caestecker Library
